Design Process
Showroom Consultation
We start by inviting you to visit our showroom for a complimentary consultation with one of our designers and to browse our various showroom displays.
In-Home Consultation
We start by coming out to your home at no charge. We provide a one-hour consultation so we can become familiarized with your needs and our homes construction.
Design Phase
We always want to be partnered to a designer or drafting team. The more information we can capture in the design and drafting phase the more accurate we can be with your proposal and ensure your goals are captured.
Proposal / Agreement
Once we have a clear direct of the design and layout, we can provide you with a proposal for your review. At this stage we can make minor changes to better fit your budget or project needs. Once approved, we have an Agreement and we can head into the Construction Phase.
Documentation & Selections
If our budget for your project is consistent with your goals and you decide to proceed with the project, we will work together to finalize all material selections and give you a final overall cost for the project. We then create final working?drawings of your project, including floor plans, elevations, details, lighting, and electrical plans.
Construction Phase
After a contract is agreed upon and signed, we begin ordering all materials for your project. We obtain building permits and establish a project timeline.
Construction begins once permits are obtained. During construction, you will work directly with our construction?manager to make sure your project proceeds seamlessly from start to finish. Your designer will visit the job site on an as needed basis.
The design team is committed to guaranteeing the successful completion of your project. We value our relationships with our customers both during and after the completion of your project.
Design, Materials & Service Work
We partner with independent accredited Interior Designers or other designers for cabinets or window coverings. We lead with design first, then construction, better design equates to better project success for your home remodel.
We routinely perform service work for new and existing clients. Service work might be one hour hanging a TV, moving something heavy, or a few days building shelves in your home. These Services are performed by our field carpenters and we work them into the weekly schedules.
Communication
All remodeling projects are managed in JobTread by our dedicated Project management team. A project superintendent will help to manage your home’s remodel on site. We encourage you to bring on a designer throughout the project to ensure consistency of design and ensuing your space is unique to you. Weekly onsite meetings that meet your families schedule with the project manager and superintendent are key to a successful project. And injecting a bit of humor and grace along the way helps ease the stress of the project.
