Client Reviews

We selected GITT Construction to renovate our home that’s very special to us because it’s been in our family for two generations. Not only did the team at GITT bring our updated design to life, but every inch of the space they renovated was constructed with the highest quality possible. From the owner/general contractor of the business all the way down to the newest carpenter on their team, each team member at GITT was respectful, honest, hardworking, and a joy to be around. We will forever be grateful for their work on our home, and will continue to use them for any future construction work on our property. At this point, we can’t imagine using anyone else. Enthusiastically recommend!

It’s very rare that I give five stars on a review, but GITT Construction absolutely earned it! Over a year ago my wife and I had our kitchen and living room remodeled, and we couldn’t be happier! From our first meeting with Tim and Michaela all the way through to our last walkthrough, they really listened to what we wanted and everything turned out better than we had hoped. Tim’s crew was amazing! They really went the extra mile to give us a great experience. Thoughtful, clean and just great to have around. And the craftsmanship was flawless, from the custom cabinets to the layout. Highly recommend!

Trust is earned and not just given. And Tim and the GITT team have earned my family’s trust. We have used them now for quite a few house projects and after some bad experiences with some other companies, we will only be using GITT and calling them straight away. Very open and honest and calm- which is great since house projects can be very stressful.

We’re thrilled with our transformed attic primary suite and would highly recommend GITT Construction and CDS for any remodeling needs. They listened carefully to our goals and ideas, helped us refine the design to optimize the space, and truly brought our vision for the third floor to life. Despite the inevitable hiccups that come with working on a 100+ year-old house, they navigated everything smoothly, stayed aligned with our priorities, and even came in under budget! We had a great experience throughout the renovation process and look forward to working with GITT on future projects.

GITT has done great work for us. We first had our basement redone, and then our kitchen. Melissa and Tim were great to work with. Blue is Kitchen before, Green is after. Carpet is before in the basement, and vinyl plank after.

Our kitchen remodel was the biggest, most expensive purchase we had done other than the house itself. Tim and Melissa and their crew held our hands throughout the whole process and were amazing to work with. It was a miserable 3+ months (as promised!) doing dishes in the bathtub but no pain, no gain, and we just love love love our new kitchen. GITT’s estimate was under actual which allowed us to do a few other things like get a new hot water heater and do some basement work to keep our pipes from freezing (they don’t any more) – which GITT took care of too. Highly recommend.

We had a fantastic experience working with GITT Construction! From start to finish, the team was professional, reliable, and truly great to work with. Tim stands out for his incredible attention to detail—he clearly takes pride in his work and genuinely cares about his clients. Every step of the project was communicated clearly, the work was completed on time, and to our surprise, it even came in under budget! It’s rare to find a contractor who delivers high-quality results with this level of integrity.

Knowledgeable and great team to work with. Had weekly meetings to review progress. Able to adapt plan as needed, great listeners. Entire team and subcontractors all professional, fun and we trusted them in our home.

GITT Construction is an awesome company to work with. Starting with Tim and Melissa, the entire crew was so pleasant and professional. They provided a detail estimate and timeline so there were no surprises. Any questions or concerns I had were answered almost immediately. I will definitely be using them for future projects.

We can’t say enough positive things about GITT Construction! Our experience from beginning to end was amazing. We did a whole house renovation of a family home my parent’s built in the year 2000. Being able to live in this home with all the beautiful updates and the newly finished basement has been so special. From the owner Tim, to all of the talented crew members and the project coordinator Melissa, we highly recommend them for any project big or small.

Such a great experience with Tim and his team! Loved their communication, skill, and ability to make a total gut of a house manageable! They worked so well with our designer and made her plans come to life. Tim was amazing to work with from start to finish! And we will use him again in the future; that says it all!

Amazing experience with Tim and his team! Very professional, great communication and excellent craftsmanship and design with both projects completed. I would recommend GITT Construction to anyone, and I will use them again on future projects. I couldn’t be happier with the final results!

Great experience! Team was respectful. Impressed by the communications – this was key for my husband and me. The team has become like family to us. We would definitely hire them again.

Excellent company — awesome service from start to finish. They designed the perfect home office space for us. We love it!
